English:

Metanoia is about changing perspective in search of mental or spiritual spaces parallel to everyday life. It’s about exploring expressions of inner and outer space, symbolic against photographic space and simultaneity of spaces in one picture. The works refer to premodern European and Persian painting both in terms of motives and techniques. At the basis lies a critical approach to the patriarchal dualism and organization of the world, which still dominates the western world. The connotations of gold as both uncreated light and the most precious material are also explored in the process of creating pictures of another cosmology.
